The Most Wholesome Place in the (Digital) World

Header image: Anda's first garment! | Frida Shirt

Sometimes, when there's so much focus on sharing final garments on social media and trying to keep up with the pace of life, we lose the enjoyment of making things slowly and intentionally. It's one of the reasons why I'm so inspired by the latest cohort of the Capsule Course, for their commitment and care in making pieces they're proud of.

This month, our Spring Suit capsule came to a close and I would love to celebrate the work that the cohort created. Over three months, 226 people across the world came together to make a shirt, a pair of trousers and a jacket, with our patterns and workshops as the launchpad for their final designs.

To everyone who took part, thank you for letting your creativity bloom with the Spring Suit Capsule Course.

Here's a little map of where the cohort were across the world! How surreal, from our little studio in London!

What really shone in this Capsule Course was the palpable sense of community. I loved seeing members help each other and bring each other up with positive feedback, and everyone's willingness to share their process and garments without pressure or unsolicited critique or comparison (aka the not so nice side to social media).

I've collated some of my favourite moments over the last 3 months in the forum below that really highlight how delightful this little pocket of the Internet has been.

The Capsule Course Forum:

The response to the forum has been so lovely, that we've decided to continue our forum for Capsule Course customers and will slowly be opening up spaces for new makers to join.

First up, we will be opening up slots for Wardrobe Workshop customers who will receive an invite with the first 2 months access for free.

For just the price of a monthly coffee, you can connect with a group of avid and committed makers for advice, feedback and support in the most wholesome place on the Internet!

You can read more about our Wardrobe Workshop here and if you have any questions please feel free to email!
