Wonderful makes from the month of March
The days are bright and sunny and the blossom is out - this can only mean one thing. It’s officially spring! As I write this it’s the last Friday of winter daylight saving here in the UK. Next week we’ll have an hour of extra sunlight in the evenings which is perhaps the single greatest gift in the annual calendar.
With summer on it’s way we’re planning our next few seasonal makes. On the pattern cutting table is a beach bag design (scroll to the bottom for a preview) and I also have some summer makes floating around my head. Perhaps a new Sienna Dress or a pair of trusty Spring Trousers. A new season brings with it a fizz of new ideas and minor stress about how I’ll have time to do it all.
This month we released our first pattern in 9 months, the Devon Waistcoat, and it’s been so great to see it out in the world. We also relaunched our Art of Trouser Making workshop which has had a fantastic response. We’re looking forward to seeing lots of beautifully fitted trousers after we added a comprehensive fitting guide to the workshop. If you missed this mini relaunch you can read about it here.
Thank you for your lovely tags this month - keep tagging us in your posts so we can share your lovely creations!

As always here's a picture of something I made this month. Some of you will have seen these bags on instagram which I made for my trip to New York. I absolutely loved using both of these makes and we've started to develop the bigger bag into a pattern... so keep your eyes peeled!
