Phew, week 1 of January is complete... we made it!

It was surprisingly easy to get the brain cogs back to full speed as January is the biggest, most exciting month of the year for us.

It's when everyone thinks about what hobbies and habits they'd like to pick up in the year ahead. Some of you might want to dip a toe into sewing or potentially make big commitments such as no clothes shopping, only home sewing. Wherever you're at we're excited to see what's in store for our sewing community in 2025.

Lots of you are kicking off your year in sewing by joining the third edition of our capsule course which is so nice to see. We have a great community of makers joining with some familiar faces from previous courses and some inspiring, well known makers from instagram that you might be familiar with.

With our most recent course winding down I thought I'd share some wonderful makes and quotes from this lovely bunch. The last course was seasonally focused with wool and waxed cotton coats and over shirts featuring a lot. It’s been so nice to lead the group through their projects and seeing so many wonderful creations shared on our course forum.
