August Inspiration Board
August has waltzed by with yet more heat but it finally feels like the summer is dwindling down. I feel like I've hardly had time to catch my breath this summer and so I'm really looking forward to a quieter and calmer autumn.
If you missed the update a few weeks ago, after some thought I decided to change our weekly inspiration boards to a monthly board. The reason behind this is to slow down the pace and make sure that home sewing isn't in the same rhythm as fast fashion.
In this board we have some beautiful, classic makes and a lovely write up on our Worker Trousers by Tessuti Fabrics (photographed just below). I'm loving seeing more of the Spring Trouser makes coming through as it's my personal favourite pattern at the moment (maybe a bit selfish to say)!
Starting to look ahead into the autumn I'm SUPER excited to have full weeks back in the studio working on new pattern releases. Autumn feels like a great time to dust off the sewing machine so I think it's going to be an exciting season for sewing.
Have a lovely last week of August,
Hetty

This is one of my favourite outfits that I packed for Paris. This is a Unisex Shirt in an XL2 (I usually wear a size S so it's quite oversized) and paired with shorts versions of the Worker Trouser.
It was a pleasure to be invited to speak about 'Radical Sustainability' alongside The Sustainable Food Story at Greenman Festival in Wales.
I wore my yellow Rib Sweater for most of the festival, it was so comfy and practical and it received a lot of compliments from fellow festival goers!
