The course was a fun, challenging and community oriented way to learn new skills and make a carefully planned capsule wardrobe. A highlight for me was seeing how unique everyone's garments were in the forum! With such versatile patterns and technical resources that keep forever, the course is a sound investment in sewing practice. I've already signed up for the next one!

The Capsule Course has provided so much education and pleasure. I've gone through it slowly and have spent many comforting evenings planning the fabrics, going through the directions and videos and experimenting with the techniques, as well as doing the sewing itself.

Linda

The Capsule Course offered ideas, inspiration, solid structure and unlimited support to help me grown in my sewing journey. The skills I have learned were invaluable in building both my confidence and my competence. I never thought I would be able to sew with such a degree of professional detail, and I did! Gratitude!

This is such a great resource! The patterns are well designed and the instructions are excellent. The capsule course then adds a whole extra level of education along with community involvement through the forums. I've participated in the first two courses and expect to continue to do so. A great investment in money and time!

So many milestones were made on this course for me. It was the first time making a buttonhole, first collar, first time putting in a zip, first time grading between sizes, first time using an Overlocker. Everything was brand new and each month brought a new challenge. If you are a beginner, and want to learn to sew, this course is the perfect start.

Anna

I'm so sad that this course has ended. It challenged me to make all sorts of things that were out of my comfort zone and then held my hand through to completion. Really well presented skills and a warm, supportive community.

Alice
Northumberland, UK

Hetty's patterns are classic and timeless wardrobe staples. And her capsule courses are detailed, visual and easy to follow. I've learned valuable tricks and tips through the capsule course while sharing progress with sewists from all over the world. 100% recommend!

Sarah

It was so great to make a capsule perfect for me and to get the help and inspiration from Hetty and the fellow sewists in the forum along the way. I can’t wait to see what course will come next!

Malin

An amazing opportunity to develop as a sewist in a supportive and creative environment, growing and advancing through the projects to hone techniques and learn new ones.

Judy
Maine, USA

If you are looking to extend your skills and gain some sewing motivation I would recommend the capsule course. Having a project guide to follow gives you a clear goal each month and a sense of accomplishment when you complete a garment. The workshops really help as they show detailed step-by-step instructions at a perfect pace.
