Is it just me or are the boards getting better and better? I love June's makes! So many of you are absolutely throwing yourselves into sewing and this board features a few people who have made at least 2 garments this month. I love to see this level of creativity and enthusiasm!

I thought I'd add a note on how I choose makes to feature in the newsletter as some get featured a lot. I choose photos where the garment is photographed nicely and clearly and that's pretty much all it comes down to. I also tend to steer more towards fabric colours that are in-keeping with our brand aesthetic to keep things looking cohesive.

Photographing your garments isn't part of the making process but I do love the eco-system of ideas it creates. The more projects that are shared the more interesting our home sewing eco-system becomes. I can't tell you how many of my own ideas are sparked by brilliant hacks and tricks that other makers have done.

I hope you enjoy this newsletter - I put it together a little early as I'm currently at Glastonbury so any late-June posts will go into July instead!
