This is a small, close knit forum of passionate and engaged sewers who are all keen to learn from one another. Whether you’re asking for advice or sharing your own tips, the forum is the perfect support network for your sewing journey.
With weekly check ins from the Modern Sewing Co. team you’ll have a helping hand and professional advice for your sewing queries.
Forum access is currently only available by invite only to ensure it's an intimate, helpful and positive space to learn and share ideas.

How do I access the forum?
Once you've bought your subscription you'll be sent details of how to join the forum via email. The forum is hosted on an external site called Circle. You'll be asked to create an account and then you'll be ready to go!
How will the forum help me?
Many of us have questions we wish we could ask when we're sewing, especially when we're building skills. Instead of trawling through hours of advice on youtube, you can post your question and photo and ask the community for their advice. This could be to do with anything from fitting issues, technical sewing questions, fabric & materials sourcing and even sewing machine trouble shooting.
While our community aren't professionals there is a vast range of experience to draw from and the general ethos is to help each other. We've seen many wonderful tips and ideas shared through the forum and have learnt a thing or two ourselves!
Will I get support and feedback from the Modern Sewing Co. team?
Yes, both Hetty and Emily (our technical wizzes!) will be on hand to answer your questions. As a rule of thumb the forum is a self sustaining eco-system of ideas, however Hetty and Emily will be checking in each week to offer support on any unanswered questions.
We encourage you to tag us in your posts if you want us to specifically answer your questions as this will give us a notification to respond to.
How easy is it to cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscriptoi at any point. Simply log into your account page, go to 'Subscriptions' and select 'Cancel subscription'.
Can I pause my subscription at any point?
We're not currently able to accommodate pausing your subscription as it interferes with account set up on the forum platform.
