Fit notes: Our classic shirt is fitted on the shoulders and flows into an A-line shape with a deep scooped V-shape hem. We've made every effort to make this style fitted and smart but very comfortable. 

Construction techniques: Classic collar & collar stand, placket & cuffs, french seam, eased sleeve head & pin hem.

Suitable fabrics: Light weight cottons and linens are perfect for this style

Fit notes: The Over Shirt has dropped shoulders with a roomy square fit and a cropped length (finishing just on the hips). Those looking for a slightly longer length can very easily adjust the pattern to add extra length to the body - this works particularly well with heavier fabrics.

Construction techniques: Run & fell seams, placket & cuff, collar & collar stand, double yoke and patch pockets

Suitable fabrics: This piece works in a huge range of fabrics, from heavier denims and twills to lighter weight cottons & linens. You could even try a wool felt version for winter.

Construction techniques: Welt pocket, french seam side pockets, collar with neck facing, full sleeve, elasticated waistband, mock fell seams, topstitching details and optional zip fastening.

Suitable fabrics: Light/medium denim, light/medium twill, light weight canvas, needlecord, wool suiting, linen (beware as linen will crease heavily)

Materials list: Self fabric, fabric for pocket bags & binding - a 40cm strip of lightweight cotton (any width of fabric), 4 x buttons (around 1.5/2cm) or 3 x buttons (around 1.5/2cm) and 16-18cm zip, elastic (roughly 3cm wide), thread in a colour of your choice and about 80cm of good quality fusing

Skill level: A good piece for committed beginners > intermediate sewers. This style has a pre-recorded online workshop option for those interested in improving their sewing techniques.

Fit notes: This garment is fitted on the shoulders with a fairly boxy fit from the bust down. It finishes just at the lower hip and features a simple sleeve that finishes at the wrist bone.

Fit notes: These trousers have a high and fitted waist which flare out from the hips down to a wider leg. The pattern included a back dart and instructions on how to fit the style to your own body. It comes with 3 different length options and you can also choose between a full length trouser or an ankle cuff.

Construction techniques: Zip fly construction, one-piece waistband, patch pockets & cuff construction. 

Suitable fabrics: These trousers work well in mid-heavy weight denims and twills.
